Take your trombone out of the closet, dust off your saxophone, join your neighbors and let's play music together! The West Yellowstone Community Band welcomes players of orchestral strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion. We will explore music from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Modern eras as well as popular music genres. Many members of the band have not picked up their instruments since high school, so don't be shy - you will not be alone. We will work on tuning techniques, blend and balance, and skills in musicianship culminating in a performance. WYCB meets on Monday evenings from 5:30 - 7:00 beginning on January 23 until May 21, excluding holidays and spring break. WYCB is directed by Nancy McPherson.
